LogistixNOW: Not now NOW!

There are many ways a business idea is formed and brought to life, some evolve from a discussion over dinner or a drink, and many arise from identifying a need or a gap in the market. LogistixNOW was formed in some part by accident but mostly by design.
Ian Jones was managing and growing his now well established international freight forwarding business, Transworld International Freight Forwarding Services, and to better service his clients, Ian established a small warehouse facility. By providing a reliable and efficient service the small warehouse operation began to grow. It became necessary to employ staff and extra equipment was purchased to maintain customer satisfaction. Soon the business was out growing the existing warehouse, another was leased to ease the congestion and eventually a third warehouse was required.
Late in 2011 a plan was devised to expand on the success of the warehouse operation with the creation of a new entity purely focused on providing Third Party Logistics services to small to medium enterprises. March of 2012 saw the launch of LogistixNOW brand with a new logo, website and corporate look.
The launch was more than just a new name and colour scheme, behind the scenes a large investment was made into new state-of-the-art inventory management software, RF scanning capabilities and an expanded range of services to be provided.
With all the change that has occurred much has remained the same, Director, Ian Jones says " We are committed to maintaining a personalised level of service to our clients and our focus remains on servicing small to medium businesses that can grow with us."
General Manager, Brendon Sheridan joined LogistixNOW to maintain the high level of customer service to existing clients and introduce new clients to continue the success that has built the foundation of this business. Brendon says "The ability to offer SME's access to the same level of technology and infrastructure already in use by the large corporates is an exciting opportunity"
LogistixNOW is already experiencing growth with the introduction of several new clients and plans to expand with the establishment of facilities interstate and a larger facility in Melbourne already well advanced.
