A new service has arrived in the Phoenix Valley aimed at helping individuals improve their lives with an in home/in office therapeutic massage from traveling therapeutic massage, founded by Rachel Schuetz.
“An in-home therapeutic massage is great because not only does it really work the tension and stress out of the muscle, which in turn helps reduce over-all aches and pains, headaches, stress, and tension, as well as help you sleep better, but getting in your own home is even better because you do not have to drive home in that relaxed hazy state that a great massage can put you in. Seeing you are at home, you can do what ever you feel like, whether it is relaxing the rest of the day, take a swim, take a nap, or jump right back into work, or a combination of the any of those.”
"Getting a massage at home or in the office, works well for many people, especially if you are busy and/or have a schedule makes it difficult to get to a place when it is open, as you can have it worked into your schedule; with appointments available 7 days from morning to evening we can accommodate most people," stated Ms. Schuetz. “An in-home massage is also beneficial to those with pain or discomfort that makes it hard, if not impossible, to drive somewhere to get the massage work they need.”
"One of the things I've learned in the past 3 years is with people’s hectic schedules and increased stress they have more of a need for relaxation and stress relief, but just don't have the time to get it done or know where to go to time to find a therapist that can do the work they need. By bringing 'the table' to you, around your schedule, traveling therapeutic massage can deliver all of the benefits of a therapeutic massage, without the burden of driving all over town to get it done, and generally at a time that works best for the client" commented Ms. Schuetz.
traveling therapeutic massage is available to accommodate your in home, in office, or on location massage requirements, whether it is a one time appointment, a regular weekly appointment, prenatal massage, couples massage, corporate event, sporting event or you need a gift certificate for the perfect gift. Same day appointments are occasionally available as well. They have appointments 7 days a week, morning through afternoon, with most of their client base being in Chandler, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Phoenix, Ahwatukee, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, Troon, Carefree and Fountain Hills. If you are outside the east valley, they have clients there as well, but a travel fee may apply depending on the distance the therapist has to drive (see http://www.travelingtherapeuticmassage.com/about.html for more information about locations and services).
For the clients comfort, a table that holds up to 450 lbs, sheets, lotion or oil, music, essential oil, and electric candles can be provided. The lotion used is Sacred Earth Botanicals© massage cream because it is unscented, hypo-allergenic, and vegan, so it can be used on just about any client. A handmade sugar scrub, which exfoliates and moisturizes your skin, can be provided for an additional charge.
A Licensed Massage Therapist since 2008, Ms. Schuetz attended Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona, completing the 750 hour program studying Myotherapy 7-Step Release and Myofascial Energetic Massage, as well as Swedish Massage and Lymphatic Massage. After finishing school, Ms. Schuetz went on to receive additional training in pregnancy massage as well to be able to assist expecting moms on their journey. She opened Traveling Therapeutic Massage because she recognized a need from clients looking for a great massage but were at a loss at to where to find a therapist without driving all over the valley.
