Vietnam eVisa Lists the Requirement for e-visa of Vietnam
e-Visa and Visa On Arrival (VOA) is two of the several visa types issued by the Vietnamese Immigration Department to foreigners intending to enter the country. Now, Vietnam eVisa lists the requirement for e-visa of Vietnam.

An electronic visa is one of visa types issued to foreigners by Vietnamese Immigration Department via electronic system which is valid for maximum of 30 days, single entry. The fee is paid via electronic payment gateway as prescribed by the Immigration Department.
When asked about this, "Instead of applying for a visa at the embassy of Vietnam, citizens of specific countries can now simply stay at home and apply e-visa Vietnam online. Once your application is approved, a link to download your e-Visa will be e-mailed to you," replied the spokesperson of Vietnam eVisa.
The conditions to grant e-visa includes outside Vietnam foreigners, holding valid passport and not falling into the cases of suspension from entry prescribed in Article 21 of Law on foreigners' entry into, exit from, transit through, residence in Vietnam.
E-visa holders in Vietnam may be considered to get new visa if being guaranteed by authority/organization in Vietnam in accordance with Law on foreigners' entry into, exit from, transit through, residence in Vietnam.
The spokesperson also added, "The applicants of Vietnam e-visa must have a valid email address to get notification regarding e-visa status, a copy of passport valid for at least 6 months (Scan the page of passport which contain your personal information) for uploading to the online form. They should also have a recent digital photograph for uploading to the online form, and a valid credit card or PayPal account to pay for the e-visa application's fee."
The cost for tourist Vietnam e-visa valid for 30 days, single entry is 40 USD and the business e-visa of Vietnam costs 55 USD. Both the visa types incurs no additional fee on arrival.
When talking about the visa exemption, "APEC business travel card holders are exempted from Vietnam visa for not more than 90 days. Travelling to Phu Quoc Island with air return ticket and stay in the Island will be exempted for 30 days of Vietnam visa. A visa is required if go outside the island."
"Visa On Arrival" requires visitors who can apply e-visa Vietnam online to get a visa approval letter first, then able to pick up their visa on arrival at the airport where they arrive. Apart from service fee that you paid online for the visa approval letter, you have to pay for stamp fee when collect your visa on arrival.
