IBMC College is excited to announce it has started collecting toy donations for the "Doc" Anderson Toy Drive at the Longmont campus, located at 2315 N Main Street.
New, unwrapped toy donations are being collected at the campus from November 19th through December 4th, at which time the toys will be taken to the Anderson Home for distribution to local families by the Longmont Police Department. "We are so excited to be a part of this event that gives back to local families in need, and remembers a fallen hero," said Mark Walker, Campus President.
The "Doc" Anderson Toy Drive was established as a memorial to Christopher "Doc" Anderson, who was killed in action on December 4th, 2006. The Anderson Home will also be accepting donations one day only, on December 4th, from 4pm to 7pm. The home is located on 2423 Frontier Street, Longmont, CO.
For more information about the Anderson Home Toy Drive and distribution, please contact Justin Owenby at the Longmont Police Department (303) 774-4300 ex. 3042.
