Monterey, CA, October 24, 2014 - On Saturday, October 25th from 11a.m. – 4 p.m. Eddison & Melrose Tea Room & Catering will be celebrating its 5th Anniversary at 25 Soledad Drive, Monterey. The location is also home to the production kitchen of the well-loved Blue Ribbon Karen Anne’s Granola. The community is invited to come and enjoy the new look of the Tea Room, it has changed over the past 5 years! Enjoy the festivities of free prizes and fun during this special day. In addition, Afternoon and High Tea will be available for $16.00 & $35.00 per person. Providing a taste of Great Britain in Monterey, and originally from Northern England, at her popular Eddison & Melrose Tea Room, chef and owner Karen Anne Murray offers delicious English pasties (not to be confused with pastries), including Meat Pasties, Veggie Pasties and Sausage Rolls. She also has an English Afternoon Tea which includes delicious tea size sandwiches, her fresh baked scones and sweet of the day & an array of loose leaf teas to select from and have brewed just for you.
Karen Anne Murray has been a Personal Chef on the Monterey Peninsula since 2001 when she established Karen Anne’s Personal Chef Service. In 2002, she expanded and began Eddison & Melrose Personal Chef Services & Fine Catering and moved to Sand City, and almost 5 years ago moved to her location in Monterey. Karen has catered hundreds of events, taught numerous cooking classes, and in the past as a certified personal fitness trainer, worked with many people to help them improve their fitness level and eating habits.
Karen is also the creator & maker of Karen Anne’s Granola, available in over 30 stores throughout Northern California & nationally online. There are a total of seven granola varieties that are available at various locations. A very healthy & popular Peninsula treat!
