The Biology of Consciousness Builds Strong Case For a Middle Ground
A large body of evidence supports the notion of an energy continuum that was brought into being by an all-pervasive consciousness and is steering evolution towards a perfection, separate from the orthodox God vs. No God paradigm.

The Biology of Consciousness: Case Studies in Kundalini examines the notion that consciousness exists outside the body and actually drives evolution by what Gopi Krishna called "the evolutionary impulse."
The book examines the arguments for and against God, making clear that there is very little evidence to support either side, but there is a large body of evidence that supports the notion of an energy continuum brought into being by an all-pervasive consciousness.
Today, we have the nouveau atheists, the biological materialists: Stephen Hawking, Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, who carry on about God and No God. Clever arguments, cleverly put together, but still only opinions. The argument between fundamentalists (God) and atheists (No God) is the wrong argument. Each represents a reductionist extreme too far out of range to prove or disprove. That's why this argument is a never-ending, round robin of useless polemics. However, there is a pragmatic, utilitarian middle ground related to this subject that's easily summed up by the following language: There is proof that a metaphysical dimension, or energy continuum, exists, that an energy field, instead of an anthropomorphic figure, residing somewhere above our heads, is responsible for creation.
It may only be a hypothesis — a kind of halfway point — between the God/No God positions, that, if not easily proven, at least has a respectable amount of anecdotal evidence to support its validity. As of now, there is neither anecdotal nor scientific evidence to support the claims of the other two arguments. There are only opinions, bolstered as it were, by high-flying rationalist gymnastics.
Life Force Books newest title, The Biology of Consciousness: Case Studies in Kundalini argues that an evolutionary impulse is steering the human race toward higher consciousness, and exists, even after death, in a kind of energy continuum.
