AlphaGuardK9 and AGK9 Training provide professional security services and security training based on their 33-acre training ground near Hailsham in Sussex. AGK9 have provided Security Dog Handler training courses for small group sizes for several years, and has recently experienced an increase of interest in private security training on a 1-2-1 basis.
The course currently available as 1-2-1 training is the 'EDI Level 2 - General Purpose Security Dog Handler' award, the entry level qualification to work with a security dog in the UK.
Run by professional dog handler and owner of AGK9 Training, Liam Hastings, the course is designed to help trainees benefit from faster progress and increased learning. The trainer's constant attention ensures more intensive and therefore quicker learning without needing to wait for other trainees to catch up or complete practical tasks, and therefore 1-2-1 training often results in completing additional course modules usually covered in the 'EDI Level 3' security course.
'EDI Level 2' Security Dog Handler training can be arranged in one continuous 6 day course or at convenient intervals over several days or weeks, subject to Liam’s availability.
All AGK9 Training courses for security dogs and handlers are NTIPDU and EDI (ASET) accredited.
