I know you would rather not, but do it. For example, that person had severe injury while cooking; that includes the lot of lost blood. It is maybe the best scenario I can give to you since others include violent crimes or suicide, but leave it on the side for now. Let see what happens in this case I just mentioned.
A trauma happened, and of course, first thing you did was to take care of the person with injury. You went to the hospital, and once you are back home, what will you do? It is a fact most people have no strength to clean the mess, especially when it has something to do with someone close to them. And you need to clean it.
