What the seminar is about:
About every design and/or manufacturing company needs to evaluate product and processes. This evaluation needs to be done for fulfill either of these: a) to establish product/process specifications; b) to QC to such specifications, c) and/or to monitor compliance to such specifications.
Although a seemingly routine part of their professional lives; the various statistical methods used to support such activities can be daunting when it comes to mastering them. A high degree of accuracy is called for. It is easy to understand why: the correctness of the use of such methods can make the difference between the launch of new products that should have been kept in R&D, and companies deciding not to launch a new product.
