Royal Coachman makes an effort to be socially and environmentally responsible by taking part in the Environmental Sustainability Program. Royal Coachman’s limos in NJ are now acceptable according to the requirements under the Green Ride Environmental Sustainability Program.
Highlights of the program include the commitment to reduce GHG emissions by 20% from 2008 to 2013, the auditing, measurement, and reporting of the GHG emissions, and specific carbon accounting reporting for annual and event related ground transportation services. Additionally, ISO 14001 will be implemented with respect to the compliance of environmental management systems.
The transport industry is known to release several million tons of toxic gases including lead, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogen oxides, and perfluorocarbons among others. Some of these gases, like nitrous oxide, are known deplete the Ozone layer.
The Green Ride Global Organization is dedicated to saving the environment by designing programs, like ‘Carbon Accounting’, in the transportation industry.
“Through our limo services in NJ, we aim to do our part to help the environment and will continue to be a leader in providing environmentally sustainable chauffeured ground transportation,” says the spokesperson for Royal Coachman.
Royal Coachman’s fleet of limos in NJ include executive sedans, hybrid sedans, Mercedes Benz, stretch limousines, SUV’s, vans, mini buses, and motor coaches that are all in line according to the Green Ride Environmental Sustainability Program.
“Our responsibility for society does not stop there; it includes safety of passengers and staff. Our Human Resources Managers and Chauffer Manager work in tandem to hand select staff and provide rigorous training. Drug tests and alcohol tests are also conducted on staff,” adds the spokesperson. The company is one of the top 50 US Limousine Services and has a list of more than 200 employees and more than 150 vehicles.
