One of the most common physical complaints people have about themselves is an unhappiness with the appearance or shape of their nose. Rhinoplasty is a plastic surgery procedure that works to improve the nose's shape, giving patients a more aesthetically appealing appearance. New York and New Jersey's Dr. Robert Morin, who recently released a video on the subject, sat down to discuss both the video and the benefits of rhinoplasty surgery.
"Rhinoplasty surgery reshapes the nose," Dr. Morin explains. "One of the most common plastic surgery procedures, it can either increase or decrease the nose's size, change nasal angles, remove bumps, and create symmetry. In the video I recently released, I documented the journey of one of my patients before, during and after her rhinoplasty. I did this to demonstrate the efficacy of this procedure, and also to ease the minds of anyone who may be nervous about nasal surgery." Dr. Morin's video can be found on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRrwoxr_MEc.
Asked to explain the rhinoplasty procedure in greater detail, Dr. Morin offered this: "Open rhinoplasty involves an incision made in the soft tissue between and within the two nostrils. Once the incisions have been made, the soft tissue that covers the nose is carefully elevated and the bone and cartilage lying underneath is sculpted in order to improve shape, contour and symmetry."
"Rhinoplasty surgery offers many benefits," Dr. Morin explains. "Most notably, distracting cosmetic deformities of the nose can be corrected, leaving patients with increased self-esteem and a more aesthetically ideal appearance. Rhinoplasty can also help with functional concerns, like a deviated septum or nasal airway obstruction."
When asked to give his thoughts on the effects of his video, Dr. Morin concluded with this: "I encourage anyone considering rhinoplasty surgery to watch the video. It's a real story about a girl who experienced real results. The video demonstrates that rhinoplasty surgery is a safe and effective way to gain the nose you've always wanted."
