The countdown to the 101st Australian Open continues at pace as the world's best players prepare for the first Grand Slam of the year in Melbourne from January 14th to January 27th. All major matches during the tournament will be streamed live on Australian-Open-Live.com in conjunction with their officially licensed streaming partner.
In the men's draw, World No.1 Novak Djokovic will aim to win his fourth Australian Open title in six years following successes in 2008, 2011 and unforgettably against Rafael Nadal in last year's final.
Craig Tiley, Australian Open tournament director gave his thoughts on Djokovic coming into the championships "Over the last five years Novak's been the most successful performer here. He's No.1 in the world and loves the Australian Open. You'd argue that he has to be the favourite coming in, based on that."
The Serb will know he must be at his very best if he is indeed to claim a third successive title as the likes of Roger Federer, Andy Murray and fit-again Rafa Nadal all go in search of glory.
In the women's draw, many pundits expect World No.1 Serena Williams to once again dominate at the biggest tournaments. Serena has won the last two Grand Slam titles - at Wimbledon and the US Open - as well as claiming Gold at the Olympics at London 2012.
Her main rivals will be the defending champion and World No.1 Victoria Azarenka, French Open champion Maria Sharapova and last year's semi-finalist Petra Kvitova.
Australian-Open-Live.com will provide readers with previews each day of the tournament as well as breaking news, results and pictures from all the action under the sun at Melbourne.
Tennis editor Steven Webb spoke of how much his team is looking forward to the tournament "The team are putting together the ideal home for all tennis fans for the first Grand Slam of the year. Not only will we give fans around the world free access to live streams thanks to our partnership with bet365, but we will also give in-depth analysis and match previews throughout the weeks leading up to the tournament."
"We have over 70,000 thousands tennis fans on our Facebook and Twitter pages counting down the hours as they can't wait to see their favourite players in action again." he continued.

As for the rest, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has a superb record in Australia and if he hits a hot streak of form, he could be very dangerous while David Ferrer’s been around for many years now and if the top guys slip up, Ferrer could well reach his first slam final.
