The world has seen him, everybody loves him and he has a knack for putting a smile on anyone's face! Yes, we're talking about our own hometown BBoy, Break Dancer, Dominic "D-Trix" Sandoval, YouTube personality from "theDOMINICshow," current judge on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew and participant in Season 3/Season 7 All Star of Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance."

The first thing on his list is coming home to the DG2 to share his passion-DANCE--with Sacramento area dancers. Saturday, December 15th at the Mesa Verde Performing Arts Center, Dom will be offering a specially designed Dance Workshop. It is open to all dancers ages 8 and up. Here is your opportunity to get one-on-one time with one of the nation's most popular dance celebrities!

D-Trix has been busy making quite a name for himself in the dance world by mastering all genres of dance. This has given him the ability to work with music industry professionals like Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias and Usher, not to mention his guest appearances on the Emmy Awards, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and the Ellen DeGeneres Show, to name a few, which all led to his being a judge for the past two seasons of "America's Best Dance Crew."

Although he has a schedule filled with touring, giving dance workshops and making appearances worldwide, D-Trix is coming home to celebrate, support and take part in the DG2's PAVE THE WAY campaign. When told about PAVE THE WAY, D-Trix did not hesitate to offer his help and jumped in with both feet.

"I will always be there for you guys, and I always want to be involved with the DG2," said D-Trix about The Dance Gallery 2 studio in Roseville. The DG2 was home for him during the years that led up to his debut on "So You Think You Can Dance."

D-Trix is coming back to help out his home dance studio, The Dance Gallery 2.

PAVE THE WAY is a campaign created by the Dance Gallery 2 students, to fundraise for the purpose of completing the mandated expansion of Baseline Road to include a turn lane into the DG2 entry. Similar to a highway, Baseline Road has a speed limit of 55 MPH, and with the current construction, it is clear the volume of traffic will continue to increase and become more stressful and even dangerous for everyday commuting.

The PAVE THE WAY project will alleviate the hazards and headache for daily commuters while making it safe for our DG2 kids. The dance students are relying on donations to help make the improvements that will ultimately benefit everyone. PAVE THE WAY reaches out to our friends and neighbors, asking for our community's assistance.

Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to take a workshop/hip-hop style dance class with the famed Dominic "D-Trix" Sandoval. The "So You Think You Can Dom" workshop will be on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at the Mesa Verde Performing Arts Center located at 7600 Lauppe Lane, in Citrus Heights. The 8 to 12-year-old workshop is at 10 am and the 12 years and up workshop is at 11:30 am.

Cost is $45 per dancer and proceeds benefit PAVE THE WAY. To register for the workshop and for more information about the D-Trix "So You Think You Can Dom" Workshop, or to donate to PAVE THE WAY, please visit: www.dancegallery2.com or call the DG2 at (916) 771-0775. Registration is limited.
