Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, has produced a new video on how to save money by using solar panels and off-grid solar energy when installing Christmas lights.
The video features Richard Ankcorn, Strategic Business Manager for Future Energy Solutions (a division of Future Electronics), along with Lauchy "Off-Grid" Langford, demonstrating how simple it is to connect outdoor Christmas lights with a small solar-powered panel and save money on electricity.
As with the other videos in the series featuring Ankcorn and Langford, the duo injects humor and helpful hints as they explain helpful, easy, money-saving tactics for reducing energy usage around the house.
Using basic parts available from any big box store, along with several products from Future Electronics including a Morningstar charge controller, Ankcorn shows how to put together a solar panel box, thus both saving money as well as being able to power outdoor lights without needing to use an outlet or extension cords.
