The Lumix DMC-TS3 by PanasonicFeatured PR

The Lumix DMC-TS3 is for those adrenalin junkies out there who like to snap pictures underwater, go trekking in the Sahara desert, and climb rugged cliffs where it is normal, and sometimes necessary to drop what is in their hands.

""I went trekking in the desert a this summer, and I could not find a better deal for a camera. Many people don't know this, but as dust gets blown onto a camera it eats away at the integrity of the camera. Luckily, I had my dust-proof Lumix DMC-TS3"

This year marks yet a new era for Panasonic as the Lumix DMC-TS3 hits the shelves with a bang. With every year, digital technology gets more and more advanced and less and less expensive, and cameras are no exception. Manufacturers are now realizing that as people become more active in their travel adventures, the technology they use to take with them needs to be as well.

The Lumix DMC-TS3 is shock-proof from 6.6 feet high. So whether you happen to be cliff-climbing or riding at mountain buggy, it will resist the impact in a failed attempt to take a motion picture. But if skying is your passion, have no fear, the freezing weather will not get to this baby! It is freeze-proof up to 10 F. Did I mention you can take pictures with it underwater?

As a side note, when cameras are advertised as being waterproof, what is usually meant is that if you accidentally drop a but of water on it, it 'may' not break. But there is a difference, so many of you might ask, is it really waterproof?. The difference is that, unlike many others advertised as waterproof, it is actually 'submersion' proof. You can completely immerse it is water as deep at 33 feet on order to take underwater pictures.

But an indestructible camera would be useless unless it took nice and crisp pictures. In fact it is 12 MP and has a 28mm wide angle, and the lens has a 4.6x zoom. You may also record HD video with it using AVCHD Lite. And, of course, an adventure camera would not be complete unless it had an optical image stabilizer for taking moving pictures.

I would certainly recommend the Lumix DMC-TS3 for your next adventures. To see a review, go to lumixdmcts3.com
